Reproduction of beer from the end of the Edo period: Komin Beer, 330ml bottle
A reproduction of the first beer brewed in Japan. It is said that Kawamoto Yukitami, a Dutch scholar from the Sanda domain where our store is located, was so impressed by the beer served on board the American ships Perry arrived on in his Black Ships at the end of the Edo period that he brewed the first beer in Japan. This is a rich, flavorful beer brewed using the top fermentation method to faithfully reproduce the beer of that time. Please enjoy "Japan's first beer."

Gekkeikan Daiginjo (cold sake)
Gekkeikan Daiginjo. It has a rich aroma of ripe fruit and cream, and is smooth on the palate with a light, refreshing flavor. The gentle sweetness is balanced with mild acidity and bitterness to create a full-bodied flavor, making this a perfect match for eel, which has a strong umami flavor. It is chilled to perfection as cold sake and is poured into a measuring cup right in front of you.
